I had the most incredible dining experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious - every dish was perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. Mariah was attentive, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations. The atmosphere was comfortable, Mariah made our anniversary dinner so special with her warmth and attention to detail, I can't wait to come back and try more items from their menu. Definitely a new favorite spot!
Enjoyed lunch here on the waterfront watching the boats go by. The outdoor seating is very pleasant on a nice day. Photos are the Oysters Rockefeller and the stuffed flounder with wasabi coleslaw & hushpuppies with cinnamon butter. The food was great. The service was great. We will be back!
Came down to Little River for a shrimp fest that got cancelled for bad weather! So we came to Hurricane Juel’s to taste their shrimp fest menu! We are picky eaters but the food and the atmosphere were awesome including the wine list! and the waiter -Logan was great! Will come again!
The first time I ate at Capt “Hurricane” Juels was in the early 70s, my father took me there the day after deep sea fishing. The food, although no where near as good as it was, is still very good. We could tell the calamari was frozen, but the main courses were very good. I’m guessing the reason is because it’s now under corporate ownership, which usually means fresh food is an afterthought. Service was outstanding and very attentive. If nothing else, this place will always have good memories of spending time as a boy with my father.
We stopped in here for lunch Sunday around 1pm. We arrived on jetskis and, right away, noticed minimal dock parking but made it work. We sat at the bar, and the restaurant was nearly empty. The dining area is very large and spacious. They have multiple places where you can eat and a beer garden. We ordered ultra drafts, and unfortunately, the bartender forgot but mugs in the freezer last night, so we had no chilled mugs. We got chicken clubs and sandwiches each, both with fries. They were hot and fresh off the grill. Fries were good, Bartender was reportedly tired stating they were understaffed. We love little river and we love local business so we will be back to see how the second visit goes.
Nick did a great job taking care of us. Food was awesome! Our first time here. We’ll be back!
